Casey Nelson attended the University of Georgia, where he majored in Film and Dramatic Arts. He spent his senior year studying theatre abroad at The University of London. Upon graduation, Casey moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. There, he landed roles in numerous high profile projects including Transformers, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, and Jane the Virgin. 

 

As an actor, Casey has studied numerous techniques including Meisner at Playhouse West, Stella Adler, and Stanislavski. Some of his teachers and mentors include James Franco, Brad William Henke, Risa Bramon Garcia, Chris Messina, and Kyle Chandler. Casey has been a working actor and acting coach for more than two decades.
