Atlanta-based actor from Chicago,
SAG Union and AEA actress has worked in theater off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally. She is a graduate of the Theater School at DePaul University. Prominent film and television roles include an unhinged conspiracy theory activist in a crossover episode of NBC's Chicago PD/Fire/Med, a fun-loving, caring aunt, with an obsessively competitive side, in the coming of age comedy, 'Play by Play’. She is writing and producing film; her feature dramedy, 'Eunice and The Great Bingo Heist' placed in the second round at the prestigious Austin Film Festival Script Competition 2022, and just won Quarterfinalist in the Atlanta International Screenplay Awards.
Meisner Technique, Ages 16+
David A. Cox began his career in NYC studying acting with the famous teacher, Sanford Meisner. He then moved to Los Angeles, appearing in films and television series at Universal Pictures, Paramount and several independent films. He has directed over 60 plays and in 1984, with permission from Sanford Meisner, David began teaching the technique that made Mr. Meisner famous and put thousands of his students in productions from film, Broadway, local theatre and television. David was also the co-founder of the NoHo Arts district, that today is the most thriving theater district of Los Angeles.
Dramatic Improv Through Storytelling, Ages 16+
Owner and Founder of Atlanta Hollywood Acting Studios, Kelly Sirois is a content creator and entrepreneur. After receiving her film degree from Georgia State University, Kelly began pursuing opportunities both in front of and behind the camera. Having worked in tv, film and broadcast, Kelly has held roles from actor to Executive Producer on a wide variety of industry projects.
Reel Kids, Ages 6-11
Mariá has a focus on "Movement for the Actor", where actors train their physicalities. She obtains that through different training techniques that she learned from her experience with theater and contemporary dance, as well as yoga and the voice training "Linklater technique". Her classes provide a space for actors to sharpen their main tool (themselves) while still gaining valuable knowledge for their careers.
Mariá has a completion certificates for the 4 year program in acting at Casa del Teatro, as well as a 200 hour Teacher training certification.
