Summer Shorts - Create Your Reel

Need a professional reel? Agents and Casting are asking for them. It’s hard to produce a quality reel unless you’ve worked on a Film or TV project. Have you experienced a hard time getting the footage from a production you’ve worked for free? 

We’ve come up with a solution. 

Summer Shorts - Build your Reel

Here is what you can expect:

• 6wk Course with a premier at the studio
• 3 weeks in studio, 3 weeks on-set (flexibility with time is required)
• Dates June 6th - July 18th - off July 4th week 
• Premier at Studio Friday night July 26th
• You get a professionally produced, 2 minute Reel from 2 original scenes with 2 different characters. Each scene is 2-3 minutes long. 
• On-location - outside park or woods, inside house or office space. 
• Limited space 10 max.

$600 with payment plans available.

Week 1- orientation, meeting the actors, pairing them up. 

Week 2 - introduce the 2 scenes and start script analysis. 

Week 3 - character development, talk about blocking

Week 4 - start shooting scenes, days will vary. 

We will have a shoot schedule. Actors must be flexible. 

Week 5 - wrap shooting last scenes, days will vary. We will have a shoot schedule. Actors must be flexible. 

Week 6 - wrap it up, ADR, students may or may not not be needed. This is a week of final touches and editing. 

Final premier at studio. Actors are presented with their Reels. Scenes are upload to YouTube and premiered. Date to be determined in July or August.
