About the Event
Star in your own film that qualifies for film festivals, shot on a Netflix approved camera.
Build your acting reel and get IMDb credit as an Actor & Producer. You'll get the Red Carpet Experience at the studios annual film festival in early November, and show your film in front of an audience including invited Directors, Producers, Distributors, Agents, Casting Directors and other Film Industry VIP's.
Get on-set experience and learn from the eyes of a director. Learn more about "your lane", discover how casting directors see you and absorb the lingo needed to be successful in the industry.
Get coached through the entire process so that you look and feel confident on-camera. Travis will be there to guide you through the process. From pen to screen.

Acting in Film - Schedule:
Week 1 - (9/7/22) - In studio Wednesday's - 6:30pm-9:30pm
- Pairing and characterization (Who am I and who do I really want to play?)
- Starting brain storming for film and build outline…
Week 2 - (9/14/22) In studio Wednesday's - 6:30pm-9:30pm
- Finish writing the short film and start rehearsal.
- Working with parter and Travis on scene. (Practice outside of class to master scene.)
Week 3 - (9/21/22) In studio Wednesday's - 6:30pm-9:30pm
- Start blocking out scene for Camera…
- Start seeing yourself on film.
Week 4 - (9/28/22) In studio Wednesday's - 6:30pm-9:30pm
- Pre production for YOUR MOVIE!
- Locations, cast, crew, etc. (Travis will guide through all of this with a basic format.)
Week 5 - 0n-Set, Location TBD
- Full day on set Saturday. Film #1
Week 6 -0n-Set, Location TBD
- Full day on set Saturday. Film #2
Week 7 - 0n-Set, Location TBD
- Full day on set Saturday. Film #3
Week 8 - 0n-Set, Location TBD
- Full day on set Saturday. Film #4
Film Festival Red Carpet Event at Hotel Indigo - Thursday Nov. 3rd, 2022. Time and Date is subject to change. We are locking in the date with Hotel Indigo.
