At AHA, we’re creating opportunities for students to step beyond acting and into the professional workflow of the industry.

We’re offering a FREE Training Day for those interested in becoming AHA Tapers — the person responsible for taping actors during their auditions.

As a taper, you’ll be behind the camera, working directly with actors, helping them capture professional self-tapes — while gaining real experience and earning $25 per session.

This is not about learning how to tape yourself —
this is about learning how to run a tape session for other actors.

What you’ll learn:

• How to properly tape actors for auditions

• Camera framing, lighting, and sound basics

• How to run a smooth, professional session

• How to support actors in the room without over-directing

How it works:

• Attend the FREE training day

• Your first sessions will be supervised

• Once approved, you can start working independently

• Earn $25 per tape session

Requirements:

• Flexible availability

• Must be local / able to come to the studio

• Submit your available dates
